Meat Canning Class with OSU Extension Office

Class Cost: $15 (scholarships available upon request)
Class Includes: handouts, jar, and meat.
Description: This class will focus on preserving meat. Meat may only be processed with a pressure canner, and the process is similar for most proteins. We will however be canning cuts of beef and/or Pork. We will also address the safe canning of venison. Each person will take one jar of meat home with them from the class. Due to processing times, this class will run about 3 hours.
