Adult Canning Hands-On Class

The Archbold Community Garden is teaming with Fulton County Ohio Extension Office to provide this hands-on learning experience. This class will be taught by Extensions Office Rep., Melissa Rupp, and will allow participants to learn canning techniques such as water bath canning methods, prepare a jar of produce using WB canning and PC methods, be introduced to tools for canning, use a pressure canner, and follow practices for safe canning.
$25 registration fee will help cover costs of food, jars and lids for canning as well as light refreshments.
